How you’ll make an impact:CIamp;T is expanding the team in Portugal and is looking for an experienced Senior Devops Engineer to build a brand new product for one of the UK's biggest telecom companies, working in their start-up incubator, accelerating the build and launch of an MVP for a new type of service for the company.
What do you bring to the role?
- 5+ years experience with AWS including Fargate and ideally EKS (K8S) for microservices deployments;- Wide AWS service experience; secure VPC design, IAM, ECS, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda;- Hands-on Kubernetes experience, either built on EC2/ECS or EKS;- Experience in any programming language for development/scripting;- Strong security focus, ideally within FinTech or another regulated industry; - ExperienceKnowledge of secure Linux;- Experience in architecting PCI compliant solutions - Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform;- Experience setting up build, test and deploy pipelines that include a DevSecOps mindset including SCA/SAST;- Experience establishing Secure By Design practices, secure infrastructure and best practice secrets management;- Experience with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker);- Experience with CI/CD processes and tools (eg Jenkins);- Experience with code versioning using Git;- Experience setting up end to end observability, monitoring, alerting and dashboards;- Excellent collaboration skills with backend and mobile developers;- Strong experience working in agile teams exhibiting best practices
Nice to have:
- Designing infrastructure with PCI compliance and GDPR im mindExperience working in FinTech- One or more applicable AWS certification covering e.g.ed DevOps, Security, Networking- Spring Boot based microservices- Experience setting up native mobile applications CI/CD
Workplace/Travel Opportunities: Currently able to work from home anywhere in Portugal, with occasional visits to our Lisbon office.Occasional local and regional travel opportunities.
