Delivering Personalized, customizable content feeds in a single platform to create, manage and measure the effectiveness of their communications, while offering a diverse selection of communication channels, Email, Mobile, Sharepoint, MS Teams amp; Viva. Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse, design and develop software based on user stories and requirements.
• Write clean and reusable code.
• Revise, update and refactor code where applicable.
• Share your knowledge and expertise to improve the team amp; product.
• Advocate for quality in both development and testing.
• Work with Product Management to find economical technical solutions.
• Establish security as part of the team’s work.
• Prioritise iterative experimentation amp; learning.
• Celebrate Wins, Losses amp; Learnings as a team.
• Monitor performance amp; reliability and improve engineer experience

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a backend engineer (Node.JS)
• Strong experience on Node.JS.
• JavaScript/TypeScript experience, ideally some of that working on a SaaS product.
• Experience working with event-driven architecture (using queues, topics, subscriptions, duplicated messages, ack).
• Non SQL database experience like (Mongo db, Dynamo Db).
• API gateway experience to secure and document API endpoints (API Gateway, mulesoft, kongo, etc).
• AWS knowledge (Here are some services we use: API gateway, lambda, fargate, dynamoDB, IAM, cloudwatch, SQS, SNS).
• Experience of monitoring and debugging distributed systems.
• Agile processes, SCRUM and/or Kanban.
• Experience using DevOps practices on the full development lifecycle. (CI/CD, artifacts, linter, security reviews, container registry).
• Experience with event-driven development.

• Experience with RESTful APIs amp; graphQL
• Experience engaging directly with customers
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Technology community involvement e.g. conferences, meetups, blogging, etc.
• History of continually learning and adapting to the latest trends and technology
• Great communication skills which you use to work with the wider team and department.
