Job Description

Everlaw is seeking a Chief of Staff to join the GTM organization to support strategic initiatives that drive positive change in the organization and accelerate growth. This role reports to the CRO and works closely with senior leadership to address challenges and opportunities across the company, with a focus on driving go-to-market initiatives. You’ll work on a wide range of analytic projects: synthesizing information to assess the health of business and communicating insights to key stakeholders, as well as coordinating leadership activities and special projects.
No two days look the same for the Chief of Staff! This could be everything from working with teams to develop a KPIs dashboard for our market segments, evaluating a new pricing program, designing and creating content for a leadership team offsite, performing a critical analysis that highlights a core problem in the business and developing a strategy and roadmap to solve, or creating presentation materials for our Board of Directors. This role has a heavy focus on cross-functional collaboration and process improvement through alignment, teamwork, organization, and data analysis. This is a full-time exempt position based in our Oakland, California office with a hybrid work schedule: in office M/W/Th with the option to work from home Tu/Fr.Getting started

In your role, you’ll
  • Plan and lead high impact, strategic, cross-functional programs to tackle business challenges and improve critical processes.
  • Partner closely with analytics and leadership to plan and monitor key performance metrics, identify insights, and drive action plans.
  • Play a key role in driving leadership team on-sites, annual planning, and other leadership activities.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly board updates and All Hands presentations, communicating business progress and strategy for the Go-to-market org.
  • Partner with our Go-to-Market teams to coordinate and measure success for our market segmentation efforts.
  • Provide strategic insight and analysis on new projects, such as market sizing, pricing analysis, and new product lines.
  • Identify company priorities and market opportunities that require leadership focus.
  • Craft company-wide communications, curating meaningful progress updates from across the business.
  • Help with executive recruitment and hiring.
About you
  • You have at least 5 years experience with a deep track record of formulating and driving business strategy, preferably in a tech environment that is growing and scaling rapidly.
  • You have substantial strategic experience in general operations, business operations, project management, finance, or sales.
  • You’re motivated to dive into the data to understand different facets of the business and identify key trends and actionable insights.
  • You consider yourself a self-starter and thrive at vision-setting, solving problems, and driving action in a fast-paced environment: navigating ambiguity and complexity to deliver results.
  • You have a proven track record of managing cross-functional projects and stakeholders and are confident in supporting and collaborating with colleagues across the business, at all levels of the organization.
  • You possess a willingness to help out wherever needed, no matter the size of the task, with creative thinking, attention to detail, and a can-do attitude.
  • You have experience working closely with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, or Business Development teams, and possess familiarity with GTM metrics.
