Job Brief
Mindtickle is looking for a VP of product to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of one of its flagship product lines. As an energetic, inspirational, and passionate product leader you are required to develop a profound understanding of the evolving market needs to ensure that mindtickle builds a world-class product and solutions to stay ahead of the curve and lead the category.
You are directly accountable for the success of your stakeholders. You will work very closely with the customers, marketers, sellers, engineers, designers and lead a team of Product Managers. As a product leader, you will share the accountability to build mindtickle’s brand, end-to-end customer experience, partner experience, product execution, and directly impact the revenue growth and churn prevention.Your responsibilities will include:
  • Owning product strategy, product positioning, pricing, roadmap, product execution, and its impact on the success of the customers and business.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and customer success to identify target customer segments, evaluate market trends and competitive landscape to align the product strategy with the go-to-market strategy.
  • Deeply understand our customers' needs through empathy, research, and ongoing interactions with customers and partners, and translate them into a compelling product strategy that continuously delights our customers
  • Assessing, tracking, and reporting product goals, objectives, and targets and their impact on the business objectives and targets including but not limited to revenue growth, customer advocacy, and net retention.
  • Leading the execution of product ideas into actionable concepts, timelines, projects, customer adoption, success, and satisfaction. Working closely with the engineering leaders and team in India to drive the execution.
  • Build and coach a world-class team of product managers, analysts, and designers to drive product excellence. Foster a culture of customer-centricity, innovation, and agility.
  • Through active thought leadership like participating in conferences, forums, best-practice articles, analyst, briefing, and customer QBRs help build a strong product brand and positioning.
Our expectations:
  • 10+ years of experience working as a product leader preferably in a B2B software industry.
  • Strong leadership skills, hiring skills, mentorship skills, technical expertise, marketing, and communication skills. Sales, sales enablement, or LMS domain expertise is preferred.
  • Strong track record of product execution and excellence through rigorous adoption of product management best practices, processes, and methodologies.
  • A strong advocate of top-notch user experience with great attention to detail.
  • Strong sense of ownership to drive things end-to-end from ideation to customer satisfaction and business outcomes.
  • Highly data-driven and adept at extracting insights from both quantitative and qualitative data to inform important product decisions, remove biases and eliminate opinions.
  • A strong team player with the ability to build cross-team partnerships and strategic alignment; and to influence without direct authority.
  • Bachelor's degree is required; MBA is preferred.
  • Curiosity. open-minded, ego-free attitude, empathy, transparency, and a good sense of humor.
