About The RoleWe are looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to own the strategy and development of our Delivery systems, which encompasses Quality Assurance, Release Engineering and Member Care Tools. When we look at our member journey and development lifecycles, we want to ensure that we are not only delivering new experiences quickly and consistently, but also providing a comprehensive toolkit to our teams that help members get the most out of their Tinder experience.
This role can also be located in Los Angeles, CA.What You'll Do:
- Identify Partner Needs- Identify specific opportunity areas and solutions to reduce the time it takes us to get high quality experiences to market, and to ensure that proper feedback loops and mechanisms are in place to support those experiences.
- Drive Roadmap- Build and drive a strategic roadmap on how to continuously improve our delivery processes and tools, but also innovate on how to grow those areas and optimize our internal operations. Take into account the partner needs while defining and leading roadmap items.
- Generate Requirements- Generate customer/stakeholder-centric requirements with your team, based upon customer and partner inputs.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally- Be the glue amongst the internal teams and act as a bridge to ensure alignment.
- Lead Product Lifecycle- Manage overall product lifecycle plans for the Delivery product portfolio, from launches to end-of-life plans as appropriate. Develop new products and improve existing portfolios.
- Present and Evangelize- Present to partners and senior management on opportunities and insights.
- Be a problem solver- Balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with ease.
What You'll Need:
- Strive to empower the middle tier of the ecosystem (e.g. developers, support teams, other product teams).
- Ability to clearly align broader organizational goals with a Delivery strategy that follows through from launch to support and beyond.
- Qualifying and quantifying how the Delivery strategy and teams deliver value from a product perspective.
- Experience with driving the strategy and execution of internal products.
- Expertise in being the connective tissue between teams and establishing partnerships with key partners.
- Experience with Android, iOS, and web-based products.
- Uncanny ability to structure problem-solving approaches and to bring multiple solutions to solving sophisticated problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to advocate for Tinder’s products.
