About the RoleCaptivateIQ is looking for a Content Marketing Associate to join the brand and content team.
You will be responsible for supporting the overall ideation, strategy, and production of CaptivateIQ’s content. You will work closely with the Content Marketing Manager to tell stories in inventive ways that are relevant, relatable, and easy to digest.
You’ll assist in creating content that resonates with our buyers and users, helps them navigate the current/future market, and moves them to action. You will have a crucial role in building CaptivateIQ’s thought leadership engine from the ground up, to position us as leaders in incentive compensation management.

  • Help create differentiated and compelling messaging, and influence positioning, storytelling, and narrative design.
  • Support the intake and communication of content marketing requests (e.g. website, assets, insights).
  • Support the development of content and assets (research reports, ebooks, videos, blog posts, etc.).
  • Deeply understand our audiences and help develop messages, conversations, and engagement models that will resonate.
  • Support the management of a quarterly thought leadership content calendar.
  • Work with the broader Marketing team to support the overall strategy, messaging, design, and other tactics.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Customer Experience, and Leadership teams to help define and build our unique points of view and talking points.
  • Uncover and leverage the right experts, evangelists, and influencers to tell timely, relatable, and authoritative stories.
  • Conduct interviews with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. customers, partners).
  • Seize opportunities to test and learn to continuously improve content engagement and conversion.
  • Follow industry and workplace trends (future of work, incentive compensation, revenue planning, sales performance, etc.).
Requirements
  • 1-2 years in a content marketing, writing, journalism, or communications role, ideally in an enterprise sales B2B SaaS context.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and storytelling skills across different mediums (email, social media, SEO, internal communications, etc.).
  • Experience with delivering commitments on time.
  • Outstanding writing skills, communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • You have a growth mindset and an always be learning attitude.
  • Experience interviewing subject matter experts and conducting research is a nice-to-have.
  • You understand how to use audience research and insights to create content.
  • Demonstrated collaborative approach to work and ability to build relationships with different stakeholders.
