We’re a fast-growing company passionate about enabling our employees’ success and we’re looking for a Compensation Manager to join our HR Team! As our first Compensation Manager, you’ll play a critical part in the design, implementation, and administration of Everlaw’s compensation programs to drive a competitive total rewards strategy.
Reporting to the Director of HR, you will work closely with cross-functional partners to develop and administer Everlaw’s compensation programs. You will own the salary and equity benchmarking process, including relevant reporting and analysis, and leverage your strong spreadsheet and data analysis skills to track and evaluate internal and external data trends. You will ensure that our compensation practices are aligned to attract and retain top talent to help support the business demands of our fast-growing organization.

In this role, you'll...
  • Lead the program design and execution of compensation programs in line with our overarching philosophy to drive performance excellence, engagement and equity.
  • Support the refining of a compelling Total Rewards philosophy to align with programs and processes at key milestones including promotions, evaluations, and calibrations.
  • Effectively partner with leaders to consult on and resolve compensation issues.
  • Conduct job evaluations using established evaluation methodology and provide salary and job level recommendations ensuring internal equity and market alignment of total compensation.
  • Create and maintain readily accessible and organized compensation and offer information for all roles within the organization, including, but not limited to base salary, variable pay, and equity.
  • Establish and maintain relevant compensation workflows, including performing regular data audits to ensure accuracy and seamless integration of compensation data with our HRIS and other compensation systems.
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to understand market trends and advise on competitiveness/attractiveness of candidate offers.
  • Own administration of compensation benchmarking tools; conduct and participate in compensation surveys, ensuring data is provided in a timely fashion and resolution of all file load issues and other related questions.
  • Respond to equity option-related employee inquiries, sourcing useful trainings and other materials to help employees holistically understand their compensation packages.
  • Manage compliance with applicable regulatory requirements regarding employee pay.
About you
  • You have at least 8 years experience in HR/Total Rewards with 5 years related experience supporting and/or managing compensation/total rewards programs.
  • You have a demonstrated history of performing job analysis and market benchmarking. Familiarity with Radford, Carta, and ADP WorkforceNow is a plus.
  • You have familiarity with the development and administration of employee Incentive Stock Option plans, including, grants, vestings, etc.
  • You have strong data analysis, compensation modeling, and Excel skills including pivot tables, look-ups, macros, etc., and are able to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making.
  • You have experience managing merit and bonus programs.
  • You are highly organized, detail oriented, and you understand the importance of accuracy in your day-to-day work.
  • You are a strong communicator who is accustomed to influencing leaders and have the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
