Finix is unique in the market. We build payments infrastructure for vertically-focused software companies (think restaurant, yoga studio and winery software) and fintech providers so they can own and monetize payments without the heavy lift of building complex systems from scratch or relying entirely on disjointed third-party services. Our job is to make our customers’ lives easier by making payments invisible.
As a member of the Business Strategy and Operations team, you will play an integral role in developing analytics used to support Finix’s growth and drive decisions. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will deep dive into ambiguous and complex business issues and deliver data insights for Finix teams and Senior Leadership.
Working with our Director of Business Operations, you are critical in enabling cross-functional teams to optimize processes, spot hidden issues, and gain insight through the reports, analytics, and dashboards you will manage and own. Working with our Director of Business Operations, you are critical in enabling cross-functional teams to optimize processes, spot hidden issues, and gain insight through the reports, analytics, and dashboards you will manage and own. This position is a great opportunity to work for a growing Fintech company and build the analytical frameworks critical to influencing Finix’s day-to-day operations.You will:
- Report a suite of KPIs to leadership on a monthly cadence - highlighting trends and providing context and recommendations around opportunities and threats to the business
- Develop and maintain ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards that monitor and influence critical business decisions
- Support the governance of key business metrics and definitions for the company and enable internal teams to improve performance using analytics
- Identify opportunities to improve our data infrastructure, synthesize requirements to the Data Engineering team, and enable stakeholders to surface new insights
- Capable of thinking across multiple dimensions of the business (Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations, etc.)
- A strong collaborator who excels at working cross-functionally to deliver results
- An excellent communicator with a service-oriented and business partnering approach
- Proactive, independent, and self-motivated with the initiative to research information, solve problems and get things done
- 2+ years of professional experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics developing complex analysis and creating advanced dashboards in Business Intelligence / Visualization tools (Tableau, Sisense, Looker, Mode, etc.)
- Strong analytical foundation (SQL) and data-driven approach to understanding a business
- Ability to communicate with and influence both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with a strong focus on execution
- A passion for finding insights in data and driving change based on those insights
- Experience in data warehousing, data integration tools is a plus.
