About the Role:
We are seeking a Sr. Benefits Analyst, Leaves amp; Accommodations to join our growing global Total Rewards team. As a key part of our core team, this role will shape our global leave of absence program, including but not limited to managing employee leave requests, supporting ongoing benefits projects/initiatives, and delivering an operationally excellent and competitive benefits program. The ideal candidate has 6-8 years of benefits, leave, and accommodations experience with strong attention to detail, a desire to learn, and a growth mindset.Here's what you’ll be doing:
  • Own and deliver a global leaves and accommodations program that up-levels the employee experience and supports the size and scale of Udemy.
  • Be our subject matter expert for all leave and accommodation requests to ensure Udemy’s practices are operationally compliant and sound with regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the day-to-day support for Udemates by guiding them through their leave and/or modified work schedules process by leading them through any responsibilities, documentation, and/or notices.
  • Liaise the communication with employees and their leaders as necessary during the leave and when the employee returns to work.
  • Partner with our global and local brokers to benchmark our programs and policies in alignment with emerging trends while remaining cost-effective, legally compliant, and balanced with Udemy’s benefits philosophy and needs.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and third-party carriers/vendors to administer end-to-end processing for all leave and accommodation requests.
  • Educate and provide training to leaders and employees on our internal leave policy, leave laws with paid time off, workers’ compensation, and short-term and long-term disability policies.
  • Scale Udemy’s leave of absence guidance and manage time-off programs, including the setup and maintenance of absence/time tracking in Workday.
  • Support with benefits due diligence and integration efforts during Mamp;A.
  • Support with miscellaneous benefits projects such as 401(k) administration, new vendor implementations, and more.

We’re excited about you because you’ll have:
  • 6-8 years of benefits and leave administration.
  • BA/BS degree preferred.
  • PHR, CEBS, CBP, etc. certification is a plus.
  • Workday experience is a plus.
  • Fidelity experience is a plus.
  • Experience in administering US leave programs, preferably in a high-growth environment.
  • Experience administering global leave programs is a plus.
  • Experience developing benefits processes, documentation, and engaging employee communications.
  • Ability to prioritize and stay organized in a constantly evolving work environment.
  • Ability to maintain, own, and strengthen relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
