Finix is unique in the market. We build payments infrastructure for vertically-focused software companies (think restaurant, yoga studio and winery software) and fintech providers so they can own and monetize payments without the heavy lift of building complex systems from scratch or relying entirely on disjointed third-party services. About the role:As an early member of the Business Operations team, you will play an integral role in supporting and executing the strategy and processes that are crucial to Finix’s operating culture. Working with our Director of Business Operations, you will help drive and implement cross-functional initiatives and design operational solutions to scale our business.
As Finix continues to grow, operational excellence becomes increasingly important. The Business Operations team increases the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization through cross-functional management and analysis. It is equivalent to the military Special Operations Team - highly dependable talents that are trusted with various assignments essential to our organizational success. In this role, you will gain exposure to all aspects of the business and a solid understanding of the inner workings of a fintech company. You Will:
  • Help identify and implement opportunities to scale Finix’s business
  • Leverage data and analytical frameworks to make recommendations and decisions
  • Create and implement operational processes and policies across the organization
  • Project manage both simple and complex projects cross-functionally
  • Drive alignment on priorities and deliverables with counterparts and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Form strong relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Assist with ad-hoc, high-priority projects as needed
You Have:
  • 2-6 years of experience in finance or operations, with a preference towards past experience in highly analytical roles
  • Experience in managing cross-functional projects in a high growth environment
  • Experience in designing workflows and processes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, capable of making recommendations and decisions rooted in qualitative and quantitative data
  • Expert knowledge of Excel (and are comfortable working with spreadsheets and large data sets)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and acute attention to detail
  • EQ: Emotionally intelligent with the ability to build strong professional partnerships
  • SQL experience is highly preferred
