Eventbrite is looking for a Product Designer II to work on our Marketing Automation team to help drive feature adoption and user activation for a new product line. This initiative is key to the success of our event creators to promote their events successfully and give them confidence in spending their time and money in the right ways.
THE TEAM
Design is a core part of our DNA at Eventbrite. We have a centralized design team that works in partnership with product managers and engineers to make a positive impact on our users’ lives and businesses. To that end, designers are embedded in product teams in order to get to know our users better, collaborate effectively, and focus diligently on our products. THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Product Designer II to bring together our creator marketing tools and integrations with our Toneden platform that enable creators to build and engage audiences for their events. You’ll be using your skills in research, system level design thinking, and craft to help take complicated, ambiguous ideas and simplify them into great experiences for our users.As an advocate for high quality design, you’ll partner with Product, Design and Engineering leaders to turn strategy into concepts and work with Designers across Eventbrite, Engineers within your team, and Product Managers across the business to turn those ideas into reality.YOU WILL- Partner with your Product Manager and Eng team to build a best in class creator marketing tools experience.
- You’ll work cross-functionally to ensure cohesiveness of user experiences in relation to other parts of the product and collaborate across multiple teams to ensure alignment
- Demonstrate mastery of UI/UX, prototyping, visual design, and research synthesis
- You thrive in situations where there is little to no definition and frequently demonstrate the ability to take insights, data, research and develop solutions.
- You’re a great communicator who breaks down complex business problems and defines new conceptsYou clarify storytelling using qual, quant, and industry knowledge
THE SKILL SET- 3+ years of professional Product Design experience at similar or larger size companies.
- Strong portfolio showcasing real live work and your design process
- A user-centered approach to designing software and services for people
- Demonstrated experience designing world class products within medium to large businesses.
- Experience facilitating discussions and exercises with engineers and product managers to drive execution
- Self-aware teammate with a strong growth mindset.
- Ability to clearly set and juggle priorities to focus on the most important issues
- Consistently demonstrate good judgement. Able to make decisions at the right level, and escalate issues to design leadership as needed.

- Previously worked in environments that leverage data and research to inform design decisions
- Deep understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
