WHY THIS ROLE IS MISSION-CRITICAL: As a Warehouse Supervisor for Pharmapacks you will be in charge for maintaining and overseeing inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, delivering items, preparing relevant documentation, and maximizing warehouse productivity. In addition, this individual is responsible for securing warehouse as well as supervision staff to ensure efficiency.KEY PRIORITIES - Assists warehouse manager with development, implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures; ensures all established policies and procedures are followed by warehouse team.
- Supervises all shipping, receiving, and packing activities performed by warehouse team; maintains a high degree of visibility and access to employees on warehouse floor throughout the shift.
- Supervises inventory control process, distribution of pallets, restocking material and update shipments status program.
- Ensure to maintain and collaborate with a proactive communication across the company.
- Leads by example and trains, motivates, coaches, rewards, and disciplines crew being
- supervised.
- Maintains a working knowledge of warehouse employees in addition to always maintaining a safe and organized work environment and all required safety training for the rest of the team.
- Oversee department's attendance by receiving and reporting call outs, complete weekly timecards.
- Constantly work to improve processes, make suggestions for productivity improvements, and optimize employee workflow. Establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices. Measuring and reporting the effectiveness of warehousing activities, employee’s performance, and employee productivity.
WHO YOU ARE: Experiences, Qualifications and Traits - High School Diploma/General Education Diploma
- Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar position.
- Good math skills with the ability to create and analyze reports and spreadsheets.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Complies with established company policies and procedures.
- Assist in decision making
- Willing to work overtime when required
- Bilingual in Spanish is a PLUS
- Fluent verbal and written communication in English
- Good math skills with the ability to create and analyze reports and spreadsheets
