How many people are needed to create an application that simplifies the purchase of food from users?At least 600, because that’s the number of people who are part of our team of engineers, who work in different countries in South and North America.The engineering team is dedicated to producing intuitive technology for customers, buyers and stores, and to solving the challenges that arise along the way.
Cornershop has thousands of scale challenges so you can apply creativity, skill and experience to participate in the creation of optimization tools for different internal processes and propose improvements.What will you do?- Collaborate with the Engineering team in the back-end development of our main products. The main programming languages you will use are Python and Django. Let’s hope you have the ability to deliver scalable solutions throughout the lifecycle of product development.
What will you need to succeed in this role?- You are able to understand and discuss the business model
- Be passionate about the world of software development and love writing and reading code
- Motivate challenges and learn constantly self-taught
- You want to work under good software engineering practices such as Clean Code, testing, CI/CD, etc
- Have experience developing with Python and Django
- You have experience with Postgres (or similar databases)
- Want to specialize and solve complex Backend-related software problems
- That you can communicate in Spanish and English, especially written
