Job Description

Everlaw has rapidly expanded over the past 18 months and we’re continuing to grow. The Recruiting team supports hiring across the company (Oakland, London, Washington DC) with an emphasis on building structured hiring processes that drive diversity, equity and inclusion. We’re looking ahead to another exciting year of growth in 2022 and we’re expanding our own team in preparation. That’s where you come in!
We’re looking for a process-oriented Recruiter to partner closely with a variety of hiring teams on the business side, including People Ops, Legal, and Finance. You’ll identify and source exceptional candidates, expertly communicate Everlaw’s value proposition, and develop business partner relationships with hiring managers and teams. And your work will matter - our company’s mission is centered around promoting justice and we’re looking for someone who will raise their hand and their voice as an advocate for an unbiased and inclusive hiring process.
At Everlaw, our mission is to promote justice by illuminating truth. Our company culture is open and vibrant and we’re committed to the professional growth of our team members, offering an annual learning and development stipend and regular check-ins with managers regarding career goals. If you’re looking for a place that values passion, integrity, thinking big, and a desire to learn, we’d love to hear from you! Think you’re missing some of the skills and are hesitant to apply? We do not believe in the ‘perfect’ candidate and encourage you to apply if you feel you can bring value to our team. Learn more about Life at Everlaw.

  • Feel like part of the team! Our onboarding process will integrate you into the company with informative sessions on our policies, processes, and team structure and goals
  • Learn, grow, and contribute right away. We trust that you will bring experience and knowledge that will uplift the team, but we don’t expect you to know everything on Day 1. You will have time to develop your product knowledge and get up to speed on all aspects of Everlaw.
In your first year you will
  • Become an ambassador for Everlaw both internally and externally.
  • Contribute to the growth of the company and the success of our mission by helping to hire new Everlawyers who align with our values and succeed in their roles.
  • Help to continue building our recruiting operations foundation for scale.
About you
  • You have at least 2 years of recruiting experience in an agency or in-house (or both!).
  • You have demonstrated success engaging and hiring sourced/passive candidates and are excited to think outside the box when it comes to attracting new candidates.
  • You are passionate about partnering with hiring managers to build diverse teams and believe that Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) are fundamental to a company’s success.
  • You have an innate sense of organization, a keen eye for process improvements, and you excel at handling multiple responsibilities at the same time.
  • You have an aptitude and inclination to use data to create narratives and drive hiring decisions.
