This position can be held in any of our US offices (Redwood City, Austin, or Portland) and is also open to remote workers (USA or Canada). #remoteJob Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, document, validate, release and maintain algorithmic software components
- Improve infrastructure and tooling: machine learning toolkits, test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
- Participate in cross-functional efforts such as clinical validations and releases of the software
- Mentor other engineers and continuously improve our engineering practices and culture
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related is required; advanced degree preferred
- 5+ year(s) of relevant industry experience in a software company
- Experience with machine learning workflows at scale: from training to deploying models
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (S3, Lambdas, Step Functions, Batch) or similar cloud platforms
- Deep practical knowledge of modern C++ (C++-11 and up) and Python
- Strong understanding of software development best practices: testing, CI/CD, Devops, agile methodologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with computer vision and 3d computational geometry
- Deep learning frameworks: Pytorch, TensorFlow
- Cross-platform development: Linux / Windows
- Experience with validation methodologies: design of experimental studies, statistical testing
