The Solutions Architect should:
- Understand from the stakeholders the product to be developed and the high-level features needed
- Understand future product plans things that are not of immediate concern but need to be considered in advance.
- Any restrictions in terms of technology either because of company policies or because certain technologies are not permitted in the client environment.
- Check if any developers are to be hired or trained.
- Based on the team’s skills, decide on technology stack to be used for the product. To help in this process, create prototypes.
- Re-evaluate technology choice, create more prototypes.
- Decide on the tooling i.e. what tools will be used by the developers to build the project.
- Decide on what code quality enforcement need to exist.
- The most important aspect is to: Create the high-level architecture and solution. This solution needs to be as flexible as possible to cater to changing needs as the sprints go by.
Requirements
- At least 8 years as a software developer.
- At least 2 years as technical team lead or solution architect.
- Experience in design, development and maintenance of cloud-based applications
- Ideal high knowledge of AWS or Azure infrastructure
- High Level English no need to be bilingual but good enough
- Experience working with or creating integrations with enterprise software like:
- Business Process Management Engines (e.g. Bizagi, IBM BPM, Bonitasoft)
- CRM (SalesForce, Dynamics)
- Marketing Automation Platforms (Marketo)
- Content Management Systems (Joomla, Wodrpress)
- Learning Management Systems (Moodle)
- Experience in development in the following languages:
- PHP
- Java/JEE
- Net
- Javascript
- Javascript Frameworks (Jquery, React, AngularJS, Angular)
- Python
