Job Description

The Associate product manager role focus on the long-term vision and value stream for the product, the marketplace trends and the sales/adoption of the product. You should be able to identify user needs, help a customer understand the business value and work with cross-functional teams to make sure that product vision, business goals and market fit are aligned. Your effort is important for the company as you will need to deliver product not just according to users but to focus on the value to our business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the voice of the client and a product advocate
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Accountable for sprint increment and release cycles delivery in alignment to client and market needs.
  • Collaborate with product management team and development team to ensure the product is considered. ‘whole and complete’ from a defined customer’s and market’s perspective.
  • Owns the product roadmap and vision.
  • Work with other product manager to envision and own Portfolio Help Desk - Support processes.
  • Participate in demos and Inspect and Adapt, validate and approve distribution material and validate and approve demo material.
  • Continuous exploration on how to maximize product value.
  • Work with internal and external customers to analyze the needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals.
  • Gather customer requirements and align them with product goals.
  • Work on developing product strategies such as new product features
  • Draft key objectives and results, strategies and apply the data for the product to make business decisions.
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and product dependencies
  • Own the product delivery cycle schedule and ensure continuous deployment release is implemented.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of a product
  • Accountable for the created product(s), delivering in the product model and communicating the product needs with business partners.
  • Collect quantitative/qualitative product data and metrics through market research.
  • Define a strategy to perform customer research.
  • Ensure that implementation (components, features) meets customer requirements/business goals
  • Identify gaps between problem to solve and user experience solving the right problem
  • Customer representative: represent our stakeholders, clients or end-users on the product decisions
  • Customer success: create and execute a strategy for customer onboarding and training
  • A member of the team but also a representative of the team in front of stakeholders, clients and users
  • Work closely with the developers, and senior management in order to create a product that fits the company portfolio
  • Increase an understanding of Agile practices, Lean Startup, new technologies opportunities and other new trends.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Consultant or related positions
  • Ability to lead and be accountable for small teams or sub-teams of 2-5 people.
  • Ability to create and maintain various project artifacts like Product Backlog, Sprint Backlogs, User Stories, etc. from scratch.
  • Ability to work with QA and Development Teams to support CD/CI
  • Knowledge of Requirements Management Processes and practical use of requirements tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Ms Project, excel, etc.
  • Capable of creating simple mockups to validate requirements (preferable using Figma)
  • Solid understanding of modern methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, Lean, DevOps.
  • Able to query and interpreting data using SQL to validate information and support decisions
