Be part of the Data amp; BI team working closely with other departments of the company to help growing our business analytics capabilities in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate in the creation of the visualisation layer of the corporate data lake assessing the different areas in their reporting necessities.
Responsibilities
- Embrace and cultivate long-term strategic goals for BI development and data governance in conjunction with end users, managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Analysis of reporting amp; analytics business requirements and translation into functional and technical solution specifications
- Continuous improvement of existing reporting processes and infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of business intelligence principles, data analytics, query design data modelling and reporting front-end tools.
- Assist in the design of databases and data warehouses to ensure interoperability with BI solutions aligning them with reporting strategy.
- Analyze user requirements and based on findings, design functional specifications for BI front-end.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure that data entry, retrieval, change, and delete functions meet business requirements for project completion.
- Partner closely with business and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and build visualization dashboards.
Requirements
College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or computer engineering.
Post-graduate certification in Data management would be a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of direct work experience.
- Strong experience with Power BI or other visualization platforms driving reporting strategy applying best data quality practices.
- Demonstrated experience with data integration to support data marts, extracts, reporting, and data lakes.
- Demonstrated experience in SQL/Data Modelling applying best data quality practices.
- Experience working within a BI team to produce best-in-class reporting and the data that sits behind it.
- Strong ability to analyze user requirements and build reports according to specifications.
- Strong understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Working experience with Cloud (Azure, preferably) environments.
- CRM Microsoft suite or other market suites like Marketo would be a plus.
