Job Description
We are looking for a talented Senior Back End Developer (Magento/PHP) to join an innovative and fun software development team, who would develop and maintain custom web-based and eCommerce applications. As a Back End engineer, you will work with Magento technologies to build mobile-first eCommerce and web applications based on specifications provided by product owners.
RESPONSABILITIES:
- Collaborate with other developers working on various components of the application.
- Regularly interact with the user experience team to receive and iterate on design documents and specifications.
- Interact with project leads and stakeholders to understand and clarify requirements.
- Interacts with stakeholders and designated testers to ensure that websites or applications work as intended
- Develop customer-specific and generic Magento modules.
- Develop integrations between Magento and 3rd Party Products.
- Develop solid solutions that are generic and reusable.
- Unit test and take accountability for the quality of your work.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of proven experience with Magento Back-End Development and PHP.
- Knowledge of JavaScript framework development is a nice to have
- 2+ years of Agile experience is preferred
- Experience with the LAMP stack is desirable.
- Expert understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts.
- Strong background in relational DBs, SQL/MySQL,
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, Git preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure is preferred

- Ability to work within a fast-paced team and a dynamic environment.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
