QA Automation /Implementation Specialist (NXT)

Job Description
The Implementation Specialist remotely installs and maintains NXTsoft’s OmniPort and OmniView applications, supporting databases, and systems. The Implementation Specialist provides remote one-on-one and group training to OmniView users. In addition, this position also performs remote data conversions using the OmniPort application.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install all aspects of OmniPort and OmniView, manually and/or with automated deployment. Includes MongoDB database, web, and other required programs.
- Remotely perform data migrations and conversions utilizing the OmniPort application.
- Remotely train customers/users on how to administer users and perform research of migrated data in OmniView.
- Clearly communicate project status to all project stakeholders via email and through Salesforce.
- Troubleshoot and own customer support cases as assigned, until resolved.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant experience installing financial applications.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Knowledge/experience with SQL,
- Knowledge/experience with JavaScript.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and explain problems with data, applications, and systems.
- Superior communication skills
- Possess a positive demeanor and be empathic
- Must be a detail-oriented, analytical thinker.
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
- Good prioritization capabilities, with an ability to see a task through to completion, despite other project demands.
- Ability to effectively problem solve and maximize use of resources. Preferred
- Experience in comparable industries (specifically Banking Operations/FinTech industry)
- Experience using Salesforce
