Job Description

Team International is looking for a Compliance Lead that will be responsible for ensuring that our client’s policies and procedures comply with regulatory, security and ethical standards. He will drive and management the execution of regular audits, implementation and updating of company policies, and design of control systems.

What you will own:

  • Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies.
  • Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues.
  • Draft, modify and implement company policies.
  • Collaborate with corporate counsels and HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations.
  • Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training.
  • Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate.
  • Ensuring our client’s technical compliance with applicable laws and regulations, starting with CCPA and GDPR.
  • Producing and peer-reviewing reports on compliance testing, developments, and processes.
  • Developing strategies and implementation plans for compliance-related gaps.
  • Explaining and defining compliance protocols and measures to stakeholders and relevant authorities.
  • Managing compliance issues relating to product or service management and delivery.
  • Advising management on compliance-related matters.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience working in business practices and processes related to security, compliance or regulatory requirements, identifying risks or gaps in an organization, and formulating and documenting process improvement strategies.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working in the implementation of security, compliance or regulatory standards such as ISO 27001, NIST (Cybersecurity framework), SOC-2, J-SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, or PCI-DSS.
  • Experience leading a team aiming to achieve certification or attestations related to security, regulatory or compliance requirements, such as ISO 27001, NIST (Cybersecurity framework), SOC-2, J-SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, or PCI-DSS.
  • A management-related certification or post-graduate study is a PLUS: PMP, Project Management, CAPM, PRINCE2 or similar
  • In-depth understanding of multiple compliance or regulatory frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC, J-SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, or PCI-DSS.
  • Skilled in understanding of business operations and business processes.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas verbally and in writing.
  • Problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
  • Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities.
  • An analytical mind able to see the complexities of procedures and regulations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • BSc/BA in law, finance, business administration or related field
  • Certified compliance professional is a plus
  • English level: B2- C1
