About the Role: As our Internal Communications Associate, you'll drive initiatives within the Communications department to create an outstanding experience for Finix staff across the country. Working with our Communications Manager, you will drive clarity and awareness for programs across the company, help create a culture of transparency and information sharing so our employees are informed, empowered and excited about Finix. You will implement strategies to drive the adoption of core internal communications systems and identify ways to drive business objectives through the various communication channels. You're energized by working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where you have the ability to deliver outstanding contributions.

You will be responsible for internal communications content that is delivered within Finix including memos, executive emails, company-wide events, etc., as well as aiding in the creation of marketing materials and public relations work as needed.As our Internal Communications Associate, you will:
- Write and edit communications in collaboration with our Communications Manager and HR team in a thoughtful manner, often under tight deadlines
- Manage our internal communications process, and calendar, ensuring the most important messages get to our audiences, that our employees know where to go for the information they need, and that our mission and values are woven into the DNA of our internal communications
- Support logistics, content development, promotion of company-wide events and happenings (All-Hands, Ask Me Anything sessions, guest speakers, cultural events, etc.)
- Manage and optimize internal communications channels such as Weekly Memos, Slack, Confluence, Google Surveys, etc., including monitoring statistics and driving insights that help us improve the effectiveness of the platforms
- Manage and update ongoing external assets, requested trackers, and messaging materials
- A self-starter who takes pride in their work and interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities
- Proactive with the initiative to find information, solve problems, and get things done
- Emotionally intelligent with the ability to build strong professional partnerships
- A confident critical-thinker that can jump into many different problems and situations and come up with tactical recommendations and solutions
- Flexible, creative, and able to be a collaborative team player
- Diplomatic and able to remain calm under pressure
- Positive with a ‘can do’ attitude and can react quickly when plans change
- 4+ years of experience in communications and/or marketing
- Bachelor's degree in related course studies such as Journalism, Communications, Marketing or Public Relations
- Outstanding organizational and project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey a story, making the most complex topic be easily understood by all
- Unquestionable integrity managing confidential information
- Experience working with senior leadership
