Senior Data Analytics Engineer

Job Description
The Senior Data Analytics Engineer is expected to support software developer’s database architects, data analysts and data scientists on data initiatives and to ensure that optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects. They must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems and products.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience
- Knowledge and/or experience in data modeling / Data Warehousing solutions using technologies like Amazon Redshift Azure Synapse (DWH), Google BigQuery, Snowflake and Postgres architecture.
- Comfortable adopting software engineering best practices like version control and using Git. Teaching others how to adopt these best practices.
- Knowledge in Looker (from Google) Mandatory
- Strong Knowledge in Data visualization tools like PowerBI and Tableau, with a good understanding in UI/UX for reporting purposes
- Knowledge in any Automation and/or RPA tool.
- Knowledge and/or experience on data ingestion / ETL (extract, transform, load) using tools like Microsoft SQL Server SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Talend, Pentaho, Panoply, Apache Kafka, Logstash, Airflow, Knime, Alteryx.
- Knowledge of bigdata tools and Ecosystems like MapReduce, Spark, Kafka, Cloudera, Databricks
- Knowledge and/or experience using SQL based technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle.
- Knowledge and/or experience using NoSQL technologies like Redis, MongoDB, CouchBase, Cassandra is a plus
- Knowledge and/or experience as a programmer using any of the following languages Power shell, Python, Perl, VBA, C#, Java.
- Selection and usage of software design patterns. Ability to define relevant software architecture patterns. (Practical Design Patterns)
- Ability to define and assemble complex data sets that meet functional/non functional business requirements
- Define and manage project structure in Source Control system (branches, tags, replication, etc.)
- Understanding of underlying data repository systems and how to create, read, update and delete records. Modify inner structures. Extend the default behavior of the data repository system.
- Identify domain models and relations between them
- Experience in Low-Code end to end solutions is a plus
- English level B2.
