Alation’s Product Management team defines the product strategy by collaborating with our customers and the Design and Engineering teams to identify new products and solutions, driving the implementation, and partnering with the GTM teams to ensure fast adoption. As a PM Intern, you will experience all stages of this process by working on a future product: you will define a solution and validate it with customers. If you are up for the challenge of working on a solution that will shape Alation’s roadmap for the next few years, then this opportunity is for you!In your internship, you will- take ownership of a real product solution, help develop the strategy and roadmap for the solution and experience the feature development process, from inception to implementation
- work with customers to gather their feedback and insights to identify product opportunities and a potential solution
- collaborate with the Engineering and Design teams on the detailed product requirements and backlog
- determine metrics to target and monitor through launch; making recommendations for product direction
- partner with GTM teams (Product Marketing, Customer Success) to develop a launch plan for your features
- gain mentorship and 1:1 experience from full-time product manager
You should.- currently be pursuing a Master's degree in Business Administration or another advanced degree, with 2-4 years work experience
- have excellent communication skills: communicate clearly about complex technical solutions and relating them to business results - You can excite others with your ideas
- have strong business acumen and a data-driven approach to decision making
- excited to work in a fast-paced environment
