The Alation Community is a place where our customers engage with each other and with Alation to share inspiration, knowledge, ideas, and best practices with their peers from around the world. The Community team delivers that promise to our customers. As a Marketing intern, you’ll be a full, contributing member of our Community team, helping to create that user-friendly and self-help experience for our community members. You will gain experiences in operating an online community, providing enticing content, and contributing to overall Community promotion.
This Marketing Intern will report to the Community Manager, Customer Programs in RWC.Responsibilities:- Assist the Community Program Manager with community operations and administrative tasks
- Create a series of short community videos to explain community platform functions and provide best practices in utilizing the communities. This will include: 1) Writing scripts; and 2) Recording and editing videos
- Brainstorm and draft promotional plan for the community videos
Requirements:- Currently pursuing a BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Graphic Design, or a related field
- Fast learner to become proficient in new software
- Excellent communication skills and usage of written English grammar
- Excel in using recording software and editing video clips
Additional Skills:- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS is preferred but not required
- Previous experience with Adobe Premiere Pro is a plus
- Familiarity with enterprise software communities or similar collaborative environments is preferred
