Alation is seeking an IT intern for a summer position at our HQ location in Redwood City. The intern will be responsible for various managed IT support and projects related but not limited to onboarding, strategic technical projects, ongoing technical maintenance, and troubleshooting support. They will report to the IT Manager at Alation’s HQ.In your internship you will.- Learn the day-to-day job responsibilities of a Desktop Support Engineer
- Get hands on experience on IT projects dealing with Okta and Google Workspace
- Have the opportunity to be customer facing helping end users in a real world environment
Requirements:- Senior undergraduate student pursuing a bachelors in MIS or related field
- Comfortable speaking in front of a small group
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Must have access to personal transportation when needed to come into our Redwood City office
- Must have a working knowledge to provide support on the following solutions:
Mac and Windows OS - Support for both Operating Systems Modern mobile operating systems- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
- Must maintain confidentiality of information
