We are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst intern to join our Information Security Team. The Information Security Team works to protect our mission critical information and infrastructure by using the industry standard security frameworks and leading security tools. As an intern, you will be offered to work alongside security professionals to learn the security implementations in real work scenarios.In your internship you will.- Examine application and network architectures, assess the security risks they pose and suggest mitigations
- Write scripts for access control auditing with our team and network vulnerability scan parsing
- Assist with security assessments and audits using log analysis
- Analyze log information to identify potential threads
- Write scripts and formalize the auditing rules for log analysis
- Assist with security monitoring and incident response tasks
- Recommend new tools and methodologies to better identify risks and propose mitigation strategies
You should.- Be a senior undergraduate student studyingcybersecurity or a related field
- Be able to work with an analyst mindset
- Be curious and eager to learn
- Have experience with coding and scripting
- Be familiar with Linux operating systems
- Have excellent communication skills
