Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Student Community Engagement Manager to join our team! If you are a self-driven and ambitious tech-savvy professional, we would love to meet you! We are expecting you to be experienced in community growth and engagement techniques at all levels.

Our ideal candidate has the ability to ideate different strategies by studying best practices in the marketplace, quickly set up MVPs to generate data and insights, and scale strategies that generate student participation, engagement and ultimately, LTV lift.

Some strategies include developing very practical content that engages, creating and moderating different groups based on interests, geographies, etc. on different platforms, developing partnerships with brands to offer special discounts, developing relationships with employers and/or generators of jobs and gigs, etc.

We are on a mission to empower the Global Spanish-speaking community for economic and personal advancement, so failure is not an option! We want an extremely passionate person to help our team succeed on that goal.

We want someone that can identify with the following characteristics:

  • Loves data and relies on it to make decisions
  • Has exceptional oral and written communication skills and can develop powerful messages
  • Is proactive, has a hands-on mindset and can manage time and result expectations of multiple stakeholders while delivering with impeccable execution
  • Has a creative, business-oriented way of solving problems and can understand other department’s needs

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience as a community and/or engagement builder, coordinator or similar role.
  • Ability to set up experiments, analyze data, conduct research and generate insights. 100% data and analytic driven.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentations and negotiation skills
  • Attention to detail, critical-thinker and problem-solver
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant field
  • Soft Skills
