Position: Business Development Representative (BDR)

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9AM-6PM EST

Salary Range: $1,500-$1,800

Type of Contract: Independent Contractor

Support Shepherd is a headhunter agency that is passionately dedicated to finding top overseas talent for our clients. We are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Client's Team, who will focus on business development. The ideal candidate will understand our niche industry and use that knowledge to cultivate relationships with prospective clients. They will also work closely with management to uncover new leads.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Generate quality leads by conducting market research, utilizing insights from data and collaborating with the management team.
  • Build strategic relationships with key contacts within customer organizations to identify opportunities for creating value
  • Prepare reports and presentations.
  • Manage CRM and Project Management tools.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
  • Build data trackers, reports, and analyses.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly internal and client reports.
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role.
  • Minimum 2 years of business-to-business sales and outreach experience.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls).
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas Experience with CRM software (e.g. Pipedrive, Salesforce).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record of generating leads and converting them into sales opportunities.
  • Strong research skills to identify new market opportunities, understand competitors, and gather customer insights.
  • Ability to provide high-quality customer service and support, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • High level of meticulousness and attention to detail.
