Position: Recruiter

Working Hours: M-F 9 am-5pm EST

Salary: 1,400USD to 1600USD

Type of contract: Independent contractor / Independent Professional

Summary of Position:

We are seeking a Recruiter to join our mission to build a safe and sustainable future. This individual will be focused on developing Shirley Parsons’ database of pre-screened, temporary candidates in North America, with key accountabilities for:

Candidate Sourcing: identifying and screening candidates against target criteria.

Lead Generation: identifying prospective clients from information gathered during candidate discussions.

Responsibilities

  • Meet regularly with Shirley Parsons consultants to confirm target candidate criteria: sector, company, and project experience; education and certification requirements, location and travel requirements.
  • Build lists of candidate profiles on our CRM that meet target criteria, identifying resumes via our existing candidate database/CRM; and online resume databases (e.g., ZipRecruiter).
  • Conduct 100 candidate screening calls per week to collect and confirm the following information: sector, company, and project experience, education and certifications; remuneration expectations (e.g., hourly rate, per diem, expenses), home location and ability to travel for work; current and future availability to work.
  • Identify prospective client leads (company, project, hiring manager) by asking about recent job interviews, and previous employers, and speaking with registered candidates at least once every 6 months.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of high-volume telephone experience (temporary staffing experience preferred).
  • Excellent English language skills (proficiency in Spanish is beneficial).
  • Capable of managing competing priorities and remaining resilient in the face of setbacks.
