Job Description

Superior Contracting amp; Maintenance, a rapidly growing company in the construction industry, is seeking a motivated Vendor Recruiter to join our team. As a Vendor Recruiter, you will play a vital role in sourcing, recruiting, and attracting talented vendors to join our partner network. You will utilize various recruitment methods, including internal systems, social media, referrals, and field methods to identify skilled and experienced workers. In addition to recruitment, you will collaborate closely with our operational team members to proactively identify current and future hiring needs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and update job descriptions and specifications in collaboration with operational team members.
  • Prepare and post recruitment materials on job boards, social media platforms, and other appropriate channels.
  • Screen resumes and job applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' knowledge, skills, experience, and aptitudes.
  • Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to the team.
  • Build and maintain influential relationships with candidates throughout the selection process.
  • Negotiate pricing with potential vendors to ensure competitive rates for our clients.
  • Help with maintaining active vendor database.
  • Assist with document collection for vendor database.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience in vendor recruitment, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Ability to conduct various types of interviews, such as structured, competency-based, and stress interviews.
  • Experience with different selection processes, including video interviewing, phone interviewing, and reference checks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with candidates and team members.
  • Strong decision-making skills to evaluate candidates and make hiring decisions.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Detailed-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in recruitment procedures.
