Job Description
Are you a skilled M365 Security engineer with extensive knowledge of Microsoft platforms and Products? We are looking for an enthusiastic Global Microsoft 365 Security Administrator to join our IT Support team in Cali, Colombia
As an M365 Administrator, you will be responsible of day to day administration of the Microsoft 365 platform. Working from MMR offices. Must have a proven track record of working within in a team with other Support Engineers and assisting senior members of the team with ad-hoc tasks as required. The team has a relatively flat hierarchy which means we are all involved in every task. Experience working in a similar environment would be advantageous.
Responsibilities are not limited to the outlined below as working as part of a small team you will be required to get involved in every aspect of the companies’ IT-based needs.
Hours of Working: Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.30 pm with one hour lunch break. In addition to this you will be required to work extra hours within reason as required by the business. These additional hours include weekend IT cover for urgent queries (by phone and/or email).

Requirements
Responsiblities
Administration:
- Conduct routine monitoring and analysis to include Audit Log Reports evaluation, system and storage utilization reports, site and system usage, growth reports, and manage site collection quota settings.
- Managing and resolving alerts/incidents for Microsoft Defender for Exchange and Defender for Endpoints.
- Monitoring and managing M365 users sign in logs.
- Ensuring the operational health of the Microsoft 365 Suite Applications including security, availability, performance, interoperability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot various Microsoft 365 issues including connectivity and mobility.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 availability, performance, and usage
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 and MS Exchange policies
- Administer and support system backup and disaster recovery processes
- Maintain inventory of equipment and software licenses.
- Update Ticket technical details, document new processes, create guidelines for new solutions, update infrastructure documentation
- Help to implement and manage identity and access solutions using Azure Active Directory (AAD) and other Microsoft 365 services working with our Global SysAdmin Team
- Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 governance policies and settings using Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Security amp; Compliance Center, and PowerShell
- Assess and mitigate Microsoft 365 security risks and threats using Microsoft Defender, Azure Sentinel, and other tools
- Coordinate with other IT staff and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of Microsoft 365 solutions with organizational goals and requirements
- Raising support calls with 3rd party providers for both software and hardware related issues.
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues
- Seeking new and innovative ways to overcome reoccurring issues.
- Evaluate the Microsoft M365 products and services, explore the new apps, and suggest how they can benefit the business.
Projects
- Taking assigned tasks from IT projects and seeing them through to completion. Asking questions and shadowing senior members of the team as required.
- Assist in developing project plans, assigning tasks and project timings.
