About the Role:
Augmedix is hiring an experienced iOS Engineer. If you are someone with strong mobile app development skills and expertise in iOS, we'd love to hear from you. In this role, your main focus will be developing iOS applications and integrating them with back-end services. You'll collaborate with a team of engineers and developers across different infrastructure layers. We value collaborative problem-solving, sleek design, and quality product creation. • Design and build applications for the iOS platform
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Translate designs and wireframes into high performance, reusable, and reliable code
• Process-oriented with the ability to work with different UI materials and rapid prototyping
• Document code consistently throughout the development process and perform peer code review
• Experience in communicating with both technical and non-technical overseas teams
• In addition to having excellent technical skills, you have to have a keen interest in the latest technologies and have a feel for a better user experience

Requirements:

• Must have demonstrated experience coding in Swift for iOS
• 3 to 5 years of software development experience in iOS Platform
• Experience working with offshore development teams is a plus
• Experience with Crashlytics tool
• Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools (such as Instruments and Shark)
• Experience in deploying the app in Apple Store
• Working iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
• Knowledge and experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
• Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
• RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
• Code versioning tools (like git), CI/CD pipeline, Cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Low-level C-based libraries are preferred
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
