We invite a focused and proactive Software Engineer with strong technical and team-leading skills to join our LatAm-based team and contribute their knowledge and expertise toward enhancing the project for our client, a major player in the global fintech area. The product is a payment functionality that helps individuals and businesses safely and effortlessly move money between bank accounts throughout the United States, from one financial institution to another, providing numerous benefits to both merchants and customers.

Is that you?

• 5+ years’ full-stack development experience in a C#/ASP.Net MVC and MSSQL environment
• Solid experience with C#/ASP.NET and/or .NET Core and SQL
• Expertise in SQL and relational databases
• Good knowledge and hands-on experience with HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, and CSS
• 1+ year’ work experience with React.js
• Familiarity with Agile test-driven development using Azure DevOps
• Good performance tuning and optimization skills
• Upper-Intermediate English level
• Great communication, organization, and people skills

Desirable:

• 2+ years’ leadership experience in either team or tech lead roles
• Scrum/Kanban team experience

Key responsibilities and your contribution

Your technical input and team lead expertise will be crucial in driving the success of the team working on the production of an enterprise-level solution that will have further sustainable development.

• Speed up the technical team's work to meet project deadlines and deliverables
• Help improve code quality through code reviews, mentoring, and technical guidance
• Help the team develop new features and services, debug and troubleshoot defects, and support the team during production issues
• Implement best development practices and coding standards
• Improve unit test coverage
• Lead technical initiatives aimed at optimizing the team's efficiency
• Maintain technical documentation to streamline processes and standards for improved workflow efficiency
