Summary:
As a Professional Development Specialist, you play an integral role in supporting administrators, teachers, and support staff with implementing the Age of Learning educational technology products with success from the onboarding to fidelity phases of the customer journey. You will deliver dynamic and innovative product-specific professional development that will drive deeper program knowledge and best practices in implementation that most importantly lead to growth in student learning outcomes. Your ability to build relationships with district/school stakeholders will be key in providing consultative support on positioning and optimizing professional development offerings.Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep knowledge and understanding of the Age of Learning Schools Solution products.
  • Work closely with Sales and Customer Success teammates to provide and coordinate cohesive professional development plans that meet the needs of customers' goals and initiatives.
  • Participate in customer-facing success calls as a trusted advisor in positioning PD related to the customer journey.
  • Anticipate professional development opportunities by monitoring reports and data.
  • Deliver effective and engaging in-person and virtual professional development to district/school administrators, teachers, and support staff.
  • Support the design and development of asynchronous and synchronous learning opportunities, educational content and management of LMS
  • Infer customer needs during trainings and flexibly shift content delivered.
  • Drive program adoption by sending pre and post PD communications specific to the outcomes and purposes of the training.
  • Maintain a pulse on educational trends, curriculum frameworks specific to classroom instruction, and professional development.
  • Present a professional image as a representative of the Age of Learning team.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in education or related
  • Experience as a classroom educator or in a K-12 setting
  • 3+ years of experience delivering professional development
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that support and maintain strong relationships both with customers and internal teams
  • Located in Palm Beach, FL
  • Ability to travel: 50-60%
The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $75,000 USD to $90,000 USD. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
