Job Description

Resolute is an IT services company specializing in the Federal IT space. We have an exceptional team who has enabled our growth from a single customer and a handful of deployed associates to several business units and 120+ associates supporting government and commercial projects. To further enable our team’s growth, we are seeking to onboard an experienced Account Executive who will open the door to subcontracting and staffing opportunities in the government IT space.

As a National Security Account Executive at Resolute Solutions you will help drive the future of IT Modernization in the Federal Government. In 2022, the Federal Government spent $109.4 Billion on IT and much of that went to application modernization services. That is Resolute’s market. We support prime contractors who have secured application implementation, modernization, and support contracts. We have an exceptional staffing delivery capability and beyond that, our small business certifications position us as the talent partner of choice for any company seeking to meet their small business subcontracting goals.

In this role, you will leverage internal relationships with our Federal Services team and our analysts to feed you intelligence on who has recently won or is projected to win contracts where we can be a value-added talent partner. You will leverage this intelligence to take a multi-pronged approach to seeking staff augmentation and permanent placement talent support opportunities. Many of the conversations you have may convert to teaming discussions where Resolute builds a more strategic relationship with your prospect, converting them into a partner rather than a client.

You will learn the complexities of the economically resilient Federal Government IT space and you will have an entire team supporting your prospecting and delivery. You will develop new relationships with clients and continue to develop them over time. Commissions in this role are uncapped.

To be successful in this role, you must be a tenacious hunter capable of persistence when required and patience when appropriate. You will take a consultative coach-like approach to qualifying and supporting your clients. You’ll need to be an exceptional listener and truly be committed to understanding and solving the customer’s underlying problem rather than just making the sale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities
  • Source, prospect, influence, and close target prospects
  • Stay abreast of new developments in the Federal IT space
  • Stay close to your own results, pipeline, and activity metrics
  • Document every engagement in CRM
  • Collaborate with the Delivery and Candidate Operations teams to ensure client needs are met

Requirements

  • Min 3 years of proven excellence in staffing sales
  • Experience doing cold calling and cold emailing
